Welcome to Yanga Online Stores (“Yanga,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.

1. The Dropshipping Model

Yanga operates on a dropshipping model. This means we do not physically stock or hold the products listed on our website. When you place an order with us, you are placing an order for a product that will be shipped to you directly from a third-party supplier, who may be located locally or internationally.

Our role is to facilitate the purchase and manage the order process, including payments and customer support. We are not the manufacturer of the products, nor do we perform quality control checks on the items before they are shipped. However, we are committed to working with reliable suppliers to ensure the best possible experience.

2. Product Information and Availability

We make every effort to display accurate and up-to-date product information, including descriptions, images, and pricing. However, as we rely on our suppliers for this information, we cannot guarantee its absolute accuracy. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct it and inform you before or after you place an order.

Product availability is subject to change at any time. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you and offer a suitable replacement, a store credit, or a full refund.

3. Ordering and Payment

To place an order, you must provide accurate and complete information. All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are subject to change without notice. We accept various payment methods as displayed on our website. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your purchase.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Due to the nature of our dropshipping model, shipping times are estimates and can vary significantly depending on the supplier’s location and the shipping method. We will provide a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Please note that the delivery times are approximate and may be affected by unforeseen delays, including customs clearance, public holidays, and logistical challenges.

• Local Shipping (within Nigeria): For products sourced from within Nigeria, delivery typically takes 3-7 business days from the date of order confirmation.
• International Shipping (from overseas suppliers): For products sourced from outside Nigeria, delivery typically takes 10-25 business days from the date of order confirmation. We strongly advise that you consider this timeframe before making a purchase.
• Customs, Duties, and Taxes: For international orders, you may be responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied by the Nigerian government. Yanga is not responsible for these charges, and they are not included in the price of your order. Please check with your local customs office for more information.

5. Prohibited Activities and Illegal Goods

Yanga Online Stores strictly prohibits the use of its platform for any illegal activities. By using our services, you agree not to purchase, sell, or facilitate the sale of any illegal goods, including but not limited to, narcotics, controlled substances, weapons, or counterfeit products.

You also agree that all products purchased through our platform are for legitimate and lawful use. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any association with criminal enterprises, including those involved in drug trafficking, human trafficking, child labor, or any other form of exploitation.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate any order, suspend or permanently ban any user account, and report any suspicious activity to the relevant Nigerian and international law enforcement agencies, such as the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). By using our service, you agree to cooperate with any investigation into such activities.

6. Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering

By using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism. You represent and warrant that you are not engaged in any illegal activities and that any funds used for your purchases are from legitimate sources.

We reserve the right to report any suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities and to suspend or terminate your account and any pending orders if we suspect that our services are being used for money laundering or other unlawful purposes. You agree to cooperate with us and any law enforcement agencies in any investigation of such activities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Yanga Online Stores, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the delivery process that are beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to delays caused by shipping carriers or customs. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
